Abstract: The Kern Péter Group of the Hungarian Cactus Society organized its cactus exhibition and sale this year for the 27th time in the Szepes Gyula Cultural Institute, Érd, Hungary. Ilona Libnárné Herczeg exhibited her multiheaded Echinocactus grusonii. She collected its seed with allowance in the Piña de Rosa Botanical Garden, Blanes és Lloret de Mar, Spain, in 1988. Some seedlings got damaged in the lack of shade in 1992, but one plant started to produce offspring and developed into a multiheaded cluster in more than twenty years. Attila Szilágyi exhibited his marvellous Ferocactus emoryi subsp. rectispinus as a member of his bellowed genus. He told that once the plant was kicked by a football, but none of its thorns got damaged, fortunately. Nevertheless, the ball went wrong completely.
