The genus Notocactus was put in focus on the spring cactus exhibition and sale of the Hungarian Cactus Society. The independent jury found the Lobivia collection of Gábor Szeifert the most perfect one. Among the exhibited plants, Csaba I. Kádár brought a Notocactus submammulosus specimen, the seed of which was bought from the Haage Nursery in the former GDR in 1986 for 50 pfennings. Péter Benke, from Makó, exhibited and old Leuchtenbergia principis specimen form the collection of József Szigetvári, or also called Uncle Csoki, already passed away. László Uram stated a less known and popular taxon, Tephrocactus mandragora in focus. From the same genus, Norbert Tóth brought a flowering specimen of Tephrocactus articulatus var. geometricus. Last, but not least, József Füleki exhibited Mammillaria specimens, among others a nearly 30 years old Mammillaria herrerae and a 35 years old, more-headed Mammillaria albiflora that was once bought form Gyula Szutorisz.
