Toward to the North, there is a white-flowering Echinocactus horizonthalonius population living next to La Soledad, also known as E. h. var. subikii. On the type locality, no plants were found in flower, but the Thelocactus bicolor plants have been flowering already, and some Echinocereus pectinatus have also started to develop flower buds. On the highest part of the hill, some Thelocactus buekii plants also live. North from here, Ariocarpus confusus with pink flowers was described by Josef Halda from the Aramberri Valley, which is a form of Ariocarpus retusus. On the type locality, no Ariocarpus, but Thelocactus conothelos subsp. aurantiacus plants were found. Not far from there, both of Thelocactus buekii and Ariocarpus confusus were found. On weathered, gypsiferous soil we found Turbinicarpus beguinii subsp. zaragosae. Close to Marmolejo village, Coryphantha glanduligera were found on a hillside, but Ariocarpus confusus inhabited only the hilltop. Moving to North, the type locality of Aztekium hintonii and Geohintonia mexicana is close to Galeana. Aztekium hintonii inhabits the sloppy, steep side of the valley, from seedlings to individuals of the size of a melon. Geohintonia mexicana is underrepresented in the side of the valley but have a high population density on the top of the valley. Its population also consist of individuals of different sizes
